Mother Iveys Bay Holiday Park, near Padstow, offers a wonderful holiday destination for guests of all ages and interests. We offer self-catering caravan holiday homes on Trevose Head overlooking the sea just outside Padstow. As well as numerous on-site facilities, the park has direct access to its own private beach which nestles in a sheltered cove that is ideal for sand, sun and surf.

Our David Bellamy Gold Award-winning park makes the most of its surroundings. The entire park is landscaped and planted to make it as colourful and attractive as possible. Our care for the environment and our conservation efforts achieved the Bellamy Gold Award and this is an award we aim to keep!

Facilities around the park, whether for our self catering guests or our touring and camping visitors are first-rate. Our caravans are all Rose Award standard. The park contains a shop for self catering essentials and a launderette. Many of our touring pitches are fully serviced and there is a clean and well maintained shower block.

For our younger guests there are two popular play areas to run off energy and to safely mix with other guests and make new friends.

About Padstow - Cornwall

Information about Padstow - Cornwall

Padstow is a popular coastal town perhaps best known for Rick Stein's seafood Restaurant and the Camel Trail which starts (or finishes) in Padstow. Padstow's port is still in use and Rick Stein's restaurant is by no means the only outlet in the locality where you can enjoy freshly caught local seafood.

The Camel Trail - ideal for cyclists or keen walkers - runs alongside the River Camel following the route of an old tramline. This would formerly have brought Granite and other bulk trade goods down from Bodmin Moor to be shipped out from Padstow. Now it has been reclaimed as a popular leisure facility allowing exploration from Padstow as far as the edge of Bodmin Moor.

On May Day, Padstow throngs with visitors who flock to the town to see the Obby Oss procession. This unique spring ritual features the Red and the Black "Oss" who celebrate the return of Spring in a manner dating back into Padstow's distant pagan past.

The wealth that accompanied Padstow's export boom is still evident around the town with fine architecture and buildings dating back to the medieval period. For holiday makers, Padstow is an excellent place to experience some "proper Cornish" atmosphere and from which to explore further along the north coast, taking in Port Isaac and Tintagel to the north and Newquay to the south.
