Hello and welcome to TownDeeds. We sell Virtual Deeds for Cities, Towns and Villages across the UK. Currently on the internet you can buy an acre of land on the moon, your own star in the sky or even register the road you live in, they all have one drawback, they are not very popular. Not many people will ever know your star, care about your road or point to your fraction of the moon - that's where TownDeeds is different. 7,500,000 people currently live in London, most Towns have in excess of 100,000 residents and most Villages have several 1000 - I think you would agree that's quite an audience to aim at. Why buy a virtual road when you can buy an entire City?

Of course you may want to buy the Virtual Deed because that was the Town or Village where you were born, maybe it's where you grew up or perhaps it's where your favourite football team are (C'mon you Reds!).

TownDeeds.com came online today, I just have a few tweaks to make to the CSS then the US Cities, Towns and Villages will be available to buy. If you do business across the pond, have a friend in the US, fancy trying to make some money or simply want to own the unique deed for 5 years - then that's the site for you, www.TownDeeds.com

It has come to my attention that some deeds may sell and the person who owns them may choose not to be contacted. In the forum you will be able to post your wish to purchase a particular deed and the owner may well come out of the woodwork if they are interested in your offer. Think of it as being the middle man :-) Also there will be a place to discuss deeds, what to do with them, how to promote them and any successes you may have - as well as information, current news and a place to ask questions. Wow! I have some work to be getting on with. A few deeds have sold already and hopefully the owners will choose to put some information about themselves on there to make them more interesting. Some deeds have well over 100 views already which has amazed me considering I haven't even finished building the site yet (currently working on an FAQ's page amongst other things)

Black text has been introduced to deeds which makes it a lot easier to read the content on "paler" deeds.

The deed owner can now select Black or White in their private admin panel. We have also closed the loophole which enabled people to sell adverts whilst also put their deed up for sale. The idea is a bit like Monopoly - you cannot sell your property whilst you have houses or hotels - likewise you cannot sell your deed whilst you have ads running (this is to ensure paying advertisers have their ads honoured for the full 3 month term).
