Things to do in Keighley before you die.
1. How many of the population of Keighley have ever been on the worth valley railway? (Famous for the Railway children filmed in )
2. Visit neighbouring Haworth (Famous for the Bronte sisters)
3. Visit Cliffe castle, known for the wonderful peacocks.

What a load of b*****ks, Keighley is really famous for its violence drugs and multicultural. Most people who are my age group would love to move away from the town, one guy even published his plight in the Keighley news, of how he was willing to live in a tent anywhere else than in this dirty run down town.
I know what you might be thinking, but yes i was born here and i have hated living here all my life, but like many of us, we have older family members that we don’t want to leave behind and that is why we are stuck here. Not to mention the poor people who want jobs but just cannot get that break in life.
Ok ok i might have been a little harsh, but this is probably my only chance to air my views.
Keighley does have a few good points, we have event that take place every year and the council do try to make them child friendly. Take the event of the 17th & 18th July at cliff castle, its called the Aire Do, its got lots on for the kids on the Saturday and on the Sunday there are great tribute bands.

I will say one good thing i have always found in Keighley is that the community always sick together and i have some great friends and wonderful neighbours. Keighlians always stick together in bad times and good ones. I have a good friend who has just given me a break and i m slowly digging myself out of a big hole that i was put in.
Anyway to some it all up, as much as i may put Keighley down i will probably never leave and there is something for everyone if you look hard enough.

Now for the other reason i bought this site, to promote the employers of Keighley, the back bone of this small town, the ones that pay many of our rents and mortgages.
